Deleting a Sticky Note?

How does one delete a sticky note in the Stickies Application. I am running 10.4.7 You would think this would be as simple as selecting the sticky note window and going to the menu to access delete, but it isn't. Is this a feature that was somehow forgotten on Stickies? I only want to delete a sticky note not the whole database. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If I'm not mistaken, all you need to do is click on the little squre in the upper left hand corner of the note.
