i cannot open a spreadsheet in numbers on ipad or iPhone

I cannot open a couple of my spreadsheets in the numbers app on my ipad or iphone... it says this message "spreadsheet couldn't be imported - an error occured"

iphone is 4s, ipad is mini... all updates made and ios is the latest... please help?

I'm getting the same message. I created the spreadsheet on my iMac, saved to iCloud, but can't open it on my iPad. iPad 2, Numbers is updated and running iOS 7.0.2.
