I bought Megapack for iWork and Office

It doesn't work. When I'm trying to open a new document or whatever, it opens terminal. I tried everything with disc utility, deleted com.apple.LaunchServices.plist from library and even run with Onyx. Nothing... I'm running osx 10.8.5.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Try contacting the actual developer of that program - Nick Maskill (although his support link in the App store does not work for me).

Apple provides the store front for this app, but they did not develop it and can offer no support for it - the developer is the one to get in touch with for that.

P.S. I do see that every one of this developers Apps have very poor reviews. Few reviews too, but none of them are positive.

Well, you can go with a free office suite like: open office for mac or libre office for mac. If you want my honest opinon, nothing beats Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 (Word and Excel). Keynote is better than PowerPoint, but the issue becomes how to give a presentation on a pc using Keynote. I was excited for iWork for iCloud, but most of the formatting is lost when you save a keynote presentation, and then try to present it from the web browser.

In fairness to the developer, the MegaPack description does make it pretty clear this is NOT a word processing package or an Office suite package.

It is simply a bundle of document templates and is supposed to be compatible with either iWorks or MS Office - it does not replace either office suite or any app within in. It is just a collection of pre-formatted templates for documents.

That does not excuse the fact it may not be working as advertised, nor for the developer to hide from his coustomers. But if you failed to understand what you were buying, then you needed to pay closer attention to the app description in iTunes - the very first line of the App description makes it clear this is nothing more then a bundle of document templates for iWorks or MS Office.

Yep, Michael is right. I figured that out couple of days ago. Althought I have to mention that title is a little of confusing and misleading if your in hurry. I have to also say that these templates are little overpriced if you are thinking to buy this.

I have nothing against the developer and I'm glad that I solved my problems. I paid for my floppiness. Now I wash my hands of this.
