Oct 11, 2013 2:30 AM in response to Michael Grenadierby Oliver Harrison,Hmmm, saw this while searching the forums. Only problem is we don't have a previous OS running on any computer in our office.
Do you think this is a problem with the OS or Compressor?

Mac OS XI have no idea. Did you try repairing permisssions, etc as I suggested in an earlier post?
Have you tried saving the droplet to a different local drive?

Jul 30, 2015 8:15 PM in response to Oliver Harrisonby mr_director,I found the solution on Creative Cow:
In this case, it is the Droplet application (inside the Compressor application package) that has become corrupt. I have seen this before and not been able to source why this happens. But you will notice that Compressor Repair does nothing to fix (because it operates on the QMaster engine and prefs, neither of which are the application package). You will also notice that any droplets that work on other systems will not work here, and any new droplets created on this system also won't work. The solution is to find a copy of the Compressor program (from another station if you have it). Show Package Contents and you will see the Droplet application inside. Copy that Droplet application into the Compressor package on your non-working system. Voila it all works again.
