iPad IOS 6 safari bookmarks vanish after iPhone is updated to IOS 7. Did not expect that. Any chance of restoring the iPad IOS 6 Safari bookmarks?

iPad IOS 6 safari bookmarks vanish after iPhone is updated to IOS 7.

These were separate Safari bookmarks not found on my iPhone or Mac.

Presuming this data is still on my iPad IOS 6 safari bookmarks but hidden now, is there a way to connect with my Mac and explore using BSD unix line commands? I have Tech Tools but am not sure it can mount the iPad and use its data recovery too. Which filepath should I search? Any other suggestions? Thank you.

Under normal conditions you should be able to recover those bookmarks from your iPad's backup.

Do you have such a backup?
