Do you subscribe to podcasts?

Nanos (I don't know about other iPods), when you delete a podcast from iTunes, do NOT delete it from the Nano. You can see them still listed on the nano if you click on the nano icon in iTunes. There appears to be no way of deleting them from the nano short of wiping the entire nano. So they slowly accumulate and you're left with less and less space.

Allow me, at this point, to remark that I reported this bug to Apple around November or December last year, and it remains unfixed. It's hard to imagine that Samsung, Sony, MS, or any other company would be allowed to get away with not fixing such a blatant bug for so long.

Aah, Apple, where quality is job number 27 or something.

i have had the same problem with my nano. except mine holds 2GB. when i try to update my ipod it says that "there is not enough room on the ipod to copy all of the selected files" but at the bottom in my Library i have 243 songs and am only using 1.01 GB of space. therefore i should still have almost half of my space left. but it wont let me copy all of my songs. i tried restoring it. and changing the drive it was in to I. and tried updating itunes and the ipod updater. then updating my nano with the new updater and trying to update my songs again but to no avail. i dont know what else to try now i'm really stumped. please if u can think of anything else to try let me know.

my ipod was fine a couple days ago i had about 250 songs on it and it updated fine and had no problems. but then suddenly when i went to listen to songs on itunes they would say for everything except the song title. i dont know what was going on there but it stopped but now the ipod wont update the songs claiming it has no space even though it does.

hi there,
i was having issues with my nano...kept saying it was in disk mode and froze. I seem to have gotten past that, but now i reset my ipod and when i go to connect it to my computer it automatically freezes again, and i have to reset it.
So right now i have a working iPod with no songs on it because everytime i plug it in, it messes up.
i've re-installed all of the software and so far no good.
anyone have any ideas?? my next quick fix is getting a new cable.....but i haven't tried it just yet.

thanks,
lish
