    Welcome to the Apple Community.

You need to provide a little more information.

I have had this same issue, after latest update, no purchased media will play. I have signed in and out more times than I care to admit in frustration. I have reset the device as well as tried the Restore option.......nothing has resolved this issue and im starting to loose faith in this software. Netflix/hulu/hbogo all work fine.

I'm having the exact same issue. Nothing helps. Can we revert back to previous software? If so, how?

Any resolution to this?  Running latest version of Apple TV SW 6.0.2. Won't play movies that do show up and play in iTunes. I receive an error occurred loading this content message.

Hi I have an apple tv 2.  I don't recall the last time I updated, but I was always advised against it.  I was turning on apple tv but had tv on wrong output and I guess I accidently hit update.  It says not to unplug or turn off, so I went ahead and let it update.  I have a collection of old movies that I owned before RedBox came out, so I downloaded them to my itunes library.  Now a lot of my newer movies will not show up on my playlists.  Movies that were there before.  Anyone know what happened, but better yet, please tell me there is a way to undue this new update?  PLEASE!

I know it's not the internet connection, because I can go to my computer and airplay it to the apple tv with no problem.  But this will be such a pain.
