Australia shipping on iPhone 5S

I have ordered a White iPhone 5S 16GB on October the 10th (Yesterday).

It currently says 'Shipping Avaliable: October' What does this mean? When in October?

And has anyone in Australia recieved their iPhones that they've ordered on the apple store and how long did it take?
