With Gmail, old partially composed drafts showing up in searches again

One of my email accounts really has gmail on the back-end. When I would compose an email, numerous drafts would get saved and then send to the trash, and they would show up in searches. I found some way to mark the trash as "Deleted Messages", and the temporary drafts didn't show up in searches anymore. All was well.

Suddenly today or yesterday, drafts started showing up in searches again, but this time, they're marked as being in "Allmail." Has anyone else encountered this? Is this some change with Gmail? How can I fix it?
