ALBUM ARTWORK

This newst version of itunes will not allow me to use my OWN jpegs for ALBUM ARTWORK.

WHY???

What is the solution to this frustrating problem??

I have done this procedure hundreds of times previously, why won't it work NOW?

Please help.
