Q: CD help needed

I have around 200 CD's I want to get rid of as they are cluttering up my flat. I want to have the music all in one place that will not use up my Mac storage.

What is the best way to do this please? I'm not very terch savvy so please be gentle!

I ideally want it in put on my iTunes. (because I think then it is stored online rather than taking up my pc storage) Is that right?

How would I go about doing that/ I have an external cd burner?

Would I need an external drive or would they be stored on cloud/

Sorry for sounding thick. Thanks

    Hi,

You will need an external CD burner such as an Apple Superdrive that you can get from Apple Store. You can then rip the tracks into itunes. I would suggest that you get an external drive to mainly provide back up of your music - don't rely solely on Cloud storage.

Once you have ripped your CD's, you do this directly to the external drive you can subscribe to match http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4914.
