Cannot backup my iPhone because "the backup could not save to the computer"

I have tried nearly every possible solution I could find on the internet, yet this error message persists!!! I've restarted my iPhone, plugged and unplugged it, unistalled then re-installed iTunes, deleted old backups, deleted backup data, created new iTunes libraries etc etc.... It is honestly driving me crazy!!! I really want to be able to back up my iPhone

If anyone could shed some light on the subject or suggest a solution I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Delete all the exisiting backups by navigating to:

C Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup

make sure show hidden files and folders is enabled: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-see-hidden-files-in-windows/

delete all the backups and then re open itunes and run backup again.

Thanks spikey1000, but I already tried that (like, 10 times or something!!!).... needless to say, it didn't work :/

Thanks mario49, I have already gone through that linst and tried all the fixes... nothing seemed to work. But, I will go though it again just to make sure and see if it makes a difference :/ 🙂

Yesss!!! After tediously going though the trouble shooting list I found what the problem was... I must have had a corrupted photo file on my iphone, because I went through and deleted every single photo on my phone (after copying them to my pc of course) and it backed up perfectly after that!! :-D
