Yes! This is so annoying. Since I got my iphone 5S my work calendar which I've always had as red keeps reverting to Mauve. And it syncs between my iphone and mac. Have tried changing them both to red at once, but 15 seconds later - plip! - mauve again.

Ok then........ solution.
Export the calendars that are affected, (not all of mine were), to the desktop. Then delete the calendar. Create a new calendar with the original name and then import the saved, desktop calendar to it. Repeat this for all the affected calendars. I did this three days ago and it seems to have solved the problem and is stable.

Thanks layaslab2, but I think I'll just hold out for Apple to push a software fix out. Apple should have caught this in Beta testing, you'd think.

Mine has magically sorted itself out since the last software update. I hope everyone else's is working now too.
