Q: Save to option missing?

So, I'm trying to scan but there wasn't a popup menu for where to save it, nor a drop down box like in the picture. I get the option to name it and choose the file type, but not where to save it. Help??

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), HP Deskjet 3050

    Are you using Image Capture or HP's scanner software?

     

    You'll have to contact HP about their software.

     

    For Image Capture, make sure you have all the details showing by clicking on Show Details. Even then, there should be a popup menu at the bottom of the screen for destination.

     

    If you don't see that on Image Capture, please take a screen shot and post it.

    To take a screen shot, press cmd-shift-4, then drag out the area of the screen to capture.

    It will be saved on your Desktop.

    Post it here using the Camera icon in the toolbar above the reply window.
