how do i delete my photos from my ipad

How did they get onto the iPad ? Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly in the iPad's Photos app - either via the trashcan icon in the bottom right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the Select button in thumbnail view. Photos that were synced from your computer can't be deleted directly in the Photos app - you need to move/remove/de-select them from where they were synced from on your computer and re-sync
