Update Disconnected

I have the 5th generation itouch. I was updating the system, in the middle of my update it was disconnected from the computer. Now it just says to connect to Itunes, i have done this already. Restarted the ipod, but no luck. Anyone?

you have to put in recovery mode and restore http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808. you just lost everyting so if you have a backup then use http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766.
