Bluetooth issues with Nissan Murano 2012

I can pair my 5s with my Nissan and not have any issues with my phone. However, I am unable to play my music via bluetooth. I receive an error that no bluetooth audio device is selected. I can't select my phone as the audio device or I will lose the phone functionality. Anyone come up with a work-around yet? I've tried to pair my phone many times, deleting my connection on both car and phone, turning off both and trying to reconnect again. Nothing is working. I didn't have any issues, prior to 5s or IOS 7.0.2. Not sure which broke the connection.
