So I don't know if this is possible, and where this question should go but since I'm mainly looking for something to make my home sharing easier to manage I'll start here. So first my setup is pretty simple, I have my main iMac that has all of our Movies/TV Shows etc on it and then 3 AppleTV's, some iPhones, iPads and other devices that all use Home Sharing for watching said media. Now the issue that I have is that because the categorizing of media is pretty general, it's hard to segregate media appropiatly to make it easier for the whole family to use. For example, I would love to have an option to segregate TV Shows for either Kids or Adults, not because I'm worried about my kids watching Castle or something like that, but just so it's easier for them to find a cartoon they want to watch instead of having to scroll through the entire list of 50+ TV Shows on their ApplTV's. This is pretty easy for Movies, I use a couple Genre types to seperate Kids movies which they like since it's easy for them to just pull up one of those Genres and then scroll through but so far there's nothing like this for TV Shows. I don't know if this makes much sense, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that really wants some more finite controls between iTunes and AppleTV in order to really use them as Media Centers.
