I would say that is probably the problem, I updated my telephone last week & have issuses since then.
I work away from home & use Face Time to speak with wife - lost that as well but trying to sort one thing at a time
Does it show your correct ID in Settings>iCloud? The reason I ask is that a number of users have reported that their devices reverted to an older ID when they updated to iOS 7
It shows a old setting which is linked to a old email address which I cannot get access / I cannot reset my phone back to orginal settings because it tell to switch of "find my iphone" which I cannot switch off as I dont have my password to iCloud Running 7.02 on phone
Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
Tried that still will not let me turn of the damded iCloud address - keeps asking for a pass word which I can not find, and i have tried every password in my lists - Is it because the account has been deleted?
If you changed the primary email address for your current ID to your old email address and saved the change, you should be able to turn off Find My iPhone using your current password (even though it's still asking for the password for your old ID).
Got it / put the old email address back in / logged out / then went to Iphone and put in the old email log in my password for my current account / thanks for your help Randers

Hi Randers. I just found this thread as I have the same problem. However, when I tried your solution I hit a new problem: I changed the email address but then I got a message saying I would receive a verification email - I can't access the verification email as the email account is now closed so the change wil not be effected. I guess my only option is to ask Apple to delete the old address?
You shouldn't need to verify the old email account. Just save the change, the wait a few minutes and try your current password to delete the existing account and turn off Find My iPhone.
I just tried it again with the same result. Typed in the new address and got the verification message. Very frustrating. I'll call the support line. Thanks for your help
Sometimes Apple has to do things behind the scenes to get things working. They should be able to help you. Good luck.
I tried the whole process described above but it won't allow my current password still. It's works on the computer but not on the phone. I turned my phone off and then turned it back on. Still no luck. Any other suggestions?
(even though it's still asking for the password for your old ID)
