Why does Software Update keep telling me that I need to install Thunderbolt Firmware Update 1.2 over and over and over again?

No matter how many time I Install the Thunderbolt Firmaware Update v 1.2 it keeps popping back up telling me that it needs to be installed. Somebody PLEASE tell me how to make this go away...

The Mac OS-OTHER, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

If you have any Thunderbolt devices attached, try disconnecting them before you apply the update and see if that helps. I know I had an external Thunderbolt HD atttached, and it kept telling me I needed to install that update, until I disconnected teh drive and applied the update.

If the above doesn't work, try hiding the update.
