Hi I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this
The music app on my iphone 5 keeps freezing...I can't us play, pause skip...
I have already reset the phone a number of times...through settings and iTunes and nothing is working

Not clear what you mean by "reset through iTunes", but you should Restore the iOS with iTunes, first using a backup, and if needed as new, without using a backup.
That's actually what I meant lol it didn't work either
Did you restore as a new phone, without using a backup? Corrupted data in your phone and the backup can cause this problem.
reset all settings
settings- general- reset - reset all settings
now reconnect to wifi
settings - wifi- click network name - enter password - join
if issue persists backup info and restore via itunes

Does in freeze when playing iTunes Store music or music obtained from other sources (mp3, CD)?
Hey try going to settings and then music and in music there is an option show all music which tries to connect to your icloud or something, turn that off and it will just show music you have downloaded to that device and there should no longer be a problem.
