Screen becomes white

When my iMac goes to stop condition in this way: No activity >screen saver > stop, when I try to start the computer, the screen is totally white. To start the iMac I am obliged to go again to stop and then to start the iMac again.

This happens only when when I leave the computer to go to stop as said above,

Any one can help?
