No, there is no PowerPC version of Boot Camp. In fact, Windows itself requires the Intel Processor, so Windows will not run on a PowerPC CPU.

Regretfully, you can't run Windows on your older G4 system because it doesn't have the hardware needed to run Windows.

Try using the Q emulator; the available options for a PowerPC Mac, free or paid, are very limited.

Ah yes, I forgot about Virtual PC for Mac. That was before my MacOS days, but I do remember seeing it in my Microsoft MSDN and Select CD sets (after MS purchased it from Connectix).

I do not know if Microsoft's updates of VirtualPC will work in your G4, as Version 5 from Connectix will...

I use VPC v6 on my PBG4 12" 1.5Ghz. On the box it states a minimum of 500Mhz G3 or G4 and OS X 10.1.5 or later so it should work for you. It has been advised to use v6 and avoid v7a as it is full of bugs. V6 was the last credited to Connectix and v7 is all Microsoft so that explains it. 🙂

Just a PS regarding VPC v7. This version has slightly higher requirements for Macs as follows.

700 MHz native G3, G4, or G5 processor.

Mac OS X 10.2.8 - 10.3 and above.

CD ROM drive.

512 MB RAM.

3 GB disk space.

1024x768 or higher Monitor, thousands of colors.
