I'm seeking help from Apple support -- enter the serial # -- only to have it rejected --what to do next??

I need a little help -- I am unable to enter a new printer -- have been trying for hours -- I sought Apple support -- only to be told my serial # is "invalid" -- so here I am !

MacBook Pro, iOS 7.0.2

Describe the problem you're having with your printer. Perhaps someone can help.


As for the serial number, verify that you are accurately copying your MacBook Pro's serial number from the About This Mac window as explained here:

... and that you are accurately typing it in the serial number field on this page:


Check your service & support coverage


If it reports the serial number is invalid contact Apple to have it corrected.
