My Ipod touch 5 deletes or looses music

Since the new iOS 7 two updates my ipod touch 5th gen RED deletes music I have added. It doesnt delete all the songs, but it deletes music recently added music. the music ive noticed is usually songs i have in chinese or russian and just today it deleted regular music. this is so annoying?! can anyone help? the music shows up when i connect the ipod to my itunes except its unplayable and theres an exclamation mark on it. In my ipod though the music is just missing. Ive tried accesing my files thru a third party program but even there the songs are unplayable.

The exclamation mark means that the actual music file can't be found.

In iTunes on the computer delete the song(s) for itnes andreimport or redownload

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

You can also try

iTunes: Finding lost media and downloads

For the iPod:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Unsync all music and resync

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
