mac is asking me for password in a nordic looking language

Hi, about a month ago, my mac started having a window pop up asking me for my password, but it's in a different language. It happens sometimes when I try to connect to a network at school, and I press cancel and it usually works anyway, but now it popped up as I'm trying to reinstall printer drivers. This is the message:

"Installer se pokousi nainstalovat novy software. Type your password to allow this." ... There are some symbols over the characters, but you get the point.

I find it strange that it's in english & another language. What's going on? How can I stop it? I'm concerned about entering my password in the box, so I haven't yet.

Go to system preferences/language & text/language and use the Edit button to uncheck the box for Czech and Slovak and restart.
