I recently switched wireless routers to a new Airport Extreme. Unfortunately, my Panasonic DVD Blu Ray device can't recognize the Airport signal. It has no problem recognizing my old Belkin router. Please provide instructions for this fix. I already have my Mac Book and a PC connected wirelessly to the Airport Extreme.
Change wireless names to SMB standard.. short, no spaces pure alphanumeric.
Change to fixed wireless channels.. test 11, 6, 1.
Turn off wireless security and test briefly with none.
If it fails it is because the new extreme has very poor signal for some people on 2.4ghz.
Keep the Belkin and use it as AP.
