black screen when trying to install windows 64 bit on mac pro (no cursor)

So im trying to install windows 7 64 bit on my mac pro early 2009, and after i press the erase disk and create single partition button (I have two hard drives in my tower), the thing restarts and then it sort of varies when the black screen happens. sometimes it will happen before the blue background shows up or sometimes it does. The farthest ive gotten (after a whole day of trying) is to the selecting hard drive screen, where i formatted my hard drive, but then the screen went black before i could press the next button. I would like to point out that i got a copy of 32 bit windows professional working on this computer before, so i know i can run windows.

Mac Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
