MacBook won't start.
Hi,
I have a MacBook Late 2006 C2D 2Ghz.
Recently it's been experiencing some problems, which I seem to have narrowed down to the RAM.
3 weeks ago, on a Saturday morning, it wouldn't start, so I took a stick of RAM out that had been in it for about a year working fine.
Then it started.
I then got loads of kernel panics probably about twice a day, to such a point that it became unusable, so I replaced the RAM again, and it worked.
This morning it wouldn't start again.
I think somewhere down the line something in the logic board has failed, which has led to it somehow ruining every stick of ram that I install.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what you think it could be?
Also I've tried the following:
SMC Reset
PRAM Reset
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Ollie.
