I have a brand new ipad and when I go into movies in the iTunes Store not all movies are able to be rented and purchased. Some of them have buttons there but can't be clicked on and the trailer also won't work? Anyone come across this?

Do you have a film age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that are blocking those films ?
I've noticed there doesn't seem to be a rental option or button. I was wondering what the deal is, but at least on mine the option to buy is still available. I would like to be able to rent from iTunes. Is this just some glitch?

t's the film studio's decision as to whether a particular film can be rented and/or bought - so it's not a glitch, it's how the studio has granted licenses to Apple.
But, I can't seem to find ANY rentals. I've spent the last 30 minutes on the site looking.
Looking at the 'top movies' on the US iTunes, 4 of the top 5 (I haven't looked at the rest) films (The Hangover Part 3, This Is The End, After Earth and The Croods) are available for renting.
Can't rent or buy all movies on my new ipad?
