Q: iCloud Storage question

I am currently maxed out on storage spaced due to videos and photos. I do not want to delete what I have, and was wondering if purchasing more iCloud storage, would allow me to take more videos and keep all the old ones, without having to delete them?

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 7.0.2

    No, it qon't help you a lot, because I cloud storage is in most cases only used by specific applications. If you would like to have access to them, but need more local storage on your device, then I would suggest to use a cloud storage like dropbox for videos and documents or Flickr for photos which offers you automatic uploads since iOS 7 and 1 TB (1000 GB) of free storage.
