Q: hi whenever i download an update for my iphone5 why does it always take over 10 hours to download, other friends of mine say theirs only takes a few minutes and i have a faster wireless service then theirs???

hi why does it take so long to download updates for my iphone5 alwyas takes over 10 hours to download it???

    1. Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your Wi-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
    2. Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and connected to the Internet. If not, refer to your network administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for assistance.
    3. Restart your iOS device.
    4. Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
    5. Tap and Forget this Network.
    6. Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
      Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one.
    7. Turn your Wi-Fi router off and on2. If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.
    8. Update your device to the latest version of software.

    1. Toggle airplane mode: Tap Settings, turn airplane mode on, wait three seconds, and then turn off again.
    2. Restart your iPhone.
    3. Ensure that your software is up to date:
    4. Remove the SIM Card and reinsert it. Allow the iPhone to acquire the network again.
    5. If your SIM card has SIM PIN enabled, try toggling it off: Tap Settings > Phone > SIM PIN.
    6. Try another location. If a different location works, but the original location still does not, contact your carrierto report the issue.
    7. Reset network settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
    8. Restore the iPhone as new.
