Q: should I get a mac Pro 13 or 15 inch

Trying to decide whether to get the mac pro 13  or 15 in?  I will be mostly using it for school writing paper and some downloading and editing videos.  mridout

    Perhaps you are thinking of MacBook Pro, not Mac Pro?

    Many students are perfectly happy with the MacBook pro 13" (non-Retina) model. It is a little lighter than the 15", and can be slipped in and out of a backpack easily when going from class-to-class. It is perfectly adequate for sharp-eyed college students for web surfing, paper-writing, email, and similar "ordinary" college tasks. It is fine for occasional game-play, but is not a serious game machine.

     

    The MacBook Air is fine for once-a-day in and out of a briefcase (if used in a padded sleeve) but seems more delicate. It may not be as durable as the MacBook Pro for everyday lugging to class.

     

    If you have different needs, you will need to articulate them to get appropriate advice.

    My family has adopted the Air.  Eait for Haswell models though of MBP... and try to find the n one tebook Comminity... this one isn't.

    15" MacBook Pro, although a iMac or a MacPro would be preferred.

     

    Forget the crappy office PC called the 13", it lacks a graphics chip, meaning it can't do 3D games or video very well.
