My Itunes on my pc won't connect to the store. I try to log onto my account and it give me the exact same error. What's going on?

As said in the title, I can't get my itunes to connect to the store. I have trouble shooted everything the help tab suggests. Except to check my account is up to date and because it requires me to sign in, when I put in my password, I get the same error as I do just trying to purchase music. My itunes it up to date, just ran all the updates on my comp yesterday. I have never had this problem before. Help!!
