Q: Using Disk Utility to repair Permissions

Hi there,

When running Disk Utility to Repair Permissions, why does it do it's job and then when you run it again to check, the same files are still being listed again as repaired?

Because those files come from a recent upgrade with which Disk Utility is unfamilar. Therefore, they will be repeated each time you repair permissions. Ignore it. This is all innocuous and has no effect on OS X itself. I get the same result on my system.
