Fixing Bad Recorded Audio

I left my camera rolling to record video at a special event when the external mic was jarred loose. The resulting audio sounds muffled. I have a later version of soundtrack pro but not experience in knowing which effect might enhance my video's audio track if any. Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks.

Soundtrack Pro (along with a bunch of similar applications) will enhance and generally clean up less than perfect audio (fan hiss in the background, voice too loud, and so on).

It can not create what is not on the recording.

Re-record the worst of the elements or come up with a sound track that drowns it out.

Sorry.

fwiw - this is why I ALWAYS monitor the audio at the point of recording with headphones. If something goes wrong, I hear it immediately and have a chance to fix things.
