Q: The application Finder can't be opened. -10810?

All right. Getting a little more than PO'd. I'm on a macbook pro, running 10.6.8. Today I got on and wanted to use pokegen, due to the new poke'mon game coming out, but there's no mac version so I downloaded WineBottler. As soon as I opened it, I got the rainbow wheel of death over a finder window I had opened and the rest of my desktop. My safari window and Steam window still worked, so I googled the problem, and after not finding anything that fit what's happening to me (similar things, but nothing exact.), I'm coming to you.

So far, I've tried killing finder, killing all my processes, and booting in safe mode. For some reason, safe mode worked just fine, but when I booted it up regularly again, finder crashed again.

From my google searches, everyone side that all the desktop icons disappeared, but not for me. They're still there, I just can't click them.

My safari window works fine, and I can open applications from spotlight, but it's a huge inconvenience. Please help!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), I don't know how to use terminal.
