How can I read documents originally made using a Punjabi font in Pages for iOS ?

Try a translator. Go here > Google Translate


With Pages open select text then click Paste..


Then paste that text into the Google translate then select a language

iOS supports the display of Unicode Gurmukhi, Devanagari, and Arabic scripts, so it should be able to display Punjabi written in any of these. Of course for Pages the document must also be in a format which Pages can open, namely .pages, .docx, .doc, or .txt.


iOS cannot display anything written in a non-Unicode legacy Indic encoding.
