Dec 30, 2013 5:40 AM in response to jsr4858by Cookmeiser,Jsr4858, did you ever resolve this issue. We have just got Apple TV and having the same problems, updates all iPad and phones and gone through trouble shooting, still no airplay option. Driving me crackers :-S

Dec 30, 2013 9:07 AM in response to Cookmeiserby JoeTBell,From any main screen, swipe from bottom up (as you would to show flashlight, bluetooth, etc.). You can select AirPlay from there, above flashlight, timer, calculator, camera icons.

Dec 30, 2013 11:40 AM in response to JoeTBellby PubLars,I did the swipe but no airplay symbol there, I have 3 ipads and 3 iPhones at home and none of them have the symbol. Brought the apple-tv to a friend and it worked fine there, we have no neighbours so there are only one wi-fi to connect to, all units are updated...
What to do??

Jan 1, 2014 4:18 PM in response to jsr4858by David Shanahan,Apple docs say AirPlay requires a 802.11a/g/n WiFi network. Is it possible your router/iOS device is only using 802.11b for some reason?
