Q: Help with iTunes 11.1.1?

I have two problems with the new interface

1. When I drag my songs (360 songs) all together to iTunes (specifically in "Music" in my iPod), the songs wont work and will have dotted circles by the title.

2. I dragged the songs 10 at a time (im using a windows 7 software) and the songs dont have dotted circles by the title. Then, i played it in my Ipod Touch 5, most of the songs dont work. Like only 1/4 of it... I tried playingh those songs in the conputer then an exclamation point pops out by the title.
