How do I hide icloud movies intentionally not on my phone?

How do I hide icloud movies intentionally not on my phone? The new OS update shows all purchases, so I can no longer hand my phone to my 2-year old 😟 He doesn't understand the tiny "cloud" indicator. Can I put them in a different folder? Can I disable icloud just on my phone? I don't use it anyway, for storage, I mean. I don't mind having icloud available from my computer, but I don't want it messing with how I view my movies. And, frankly, its irritating not to be able to quickly select music, since I have to really look now to see what's actually on my phone and what's just indicating that I own it. This is not useful for a device that I need to be able to make quick decisions on. I just want to be able to select what I've loaded. Is there an easy way to disable this new feature I did not select?

iPhone 4, iOS 7.0.2
