Cannot access "Go To" in Finder

The "Go To" option is no longer present in the Go tab of my Finder, and I can't use command+shift+G to access it either. I have tried typing "

defaults write com.apple.finder ProhibitGoToFolder -bool false" into the terminal and then "killall Finder" to relaunch the Finder with to Go To option present - but with no luck. Is there something I'm missing? I'm sure the Go To option was present when I first got my mac a few weeks ago, and I can't think of anything I would have done to disable it. Are there any other ways to access it? I don't really care about it being present in the Go tab as long as I could get into it a different way.
