Currently, the only AC capable computer product that Apple is offering is the new MacBook Air. The other devices that you have are not compatible with the AC signal, so they receive a normal WiFi signal from the AirPort Extreme.

Does the next gen MacBook Pro Retina Display support the ac standard ?
Is there any way to upgrade the devices not compatible with ac standard to make them compatible ?
Thanks

It would be logical to expect that new products will have this feature, but that is a question that only Apple can answer.

The ac module is called QCard 2. What do you guys think about it? I just asked a compatibility question on QuickerTek, Inc.'s facebook page.
