Oct 14, 2013 3:53 AM in response to Tesseraxby reborncoyote,Hi...the model I have is AirPort Extreme 802.11n Wi Fi. I guess what I was hoping is that it would boost my wi-Fi as we have really thick walls and signal not great. The other issue Is that my wifi signal drops out many times a day which means I have to constantly unplug from the mains.

Oct 17, 2013 9:03 AM in response to reborncoyoteby Tesserax,Unfortunately, you will NOT be able to use the AirPort Extreme to extend the wireless range of your Linksys router as the two are incompatible for this feature. In fact, if "thick" walls is an issue, then even Linksys' solution for this may not work as well.
Your only real option would be to use an Ethernet connection between them, and then, configure them both for a roaming network. If Ethernet is not practical or desireable, you may want to consider using Powerline adapters instead. These take advantage of your home's electrical circuit to create a pseudo Ethernet one.
