please advise for update process
MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
You have to upgrade first to SnowLeopard (paid CD), then update SL to 10.6.8, and then you can (internet Appstore) upgrade to MountainLion (paid, with apple ID) directly.
BTW: only the first Macbookair can not upgrade to MountainLion, the max is Lion 10.7.5 on that one. All other Macbookairs can upgrade to MountainLion.
unable to update 10.5.8 to purchase mountain lion, please advise
