I am not sure what you mean by "genie", but torrents usually use up a lot of bandwidth. and the Time Capsule or AirPort Extreme will support a Gigabit Ethernet connection.....1,000 Mbps.
Chances are, your Internet connection plan with your provider is a whole lot slower.....maybe 100 Mbps or less, so the speed of your downloads will be determined by the speed of your Internet connection plan.

If you mean to use it on the TimeCapsule and not a mac computer: NO.
If you run it on the mac computer it runs like any other app, but as Bob probably will say, it is using a lot of bandwidth.
Hi Bob, you came in when I entered my post, HA.
I wonder... torrents.... is that not against the law most of the time??..

I meant to say that if I could use the internal hard disk of the TC for automated downloads of the torrents via some torrent client like vuze even when my Mac is turned off.
The TC hard disk is a dumb hard drive with no brains.
If the vuze client has the programming ability to specify the exact path to reach a specific device like the TC drive on your network, then you could download files directly to the TC drive.
Your question is really one for vuze support.
Ok
There is no client you can add into the TC.. a computer has to be turned on the whole time.
Apple do not allow additions to the TC firmware unlike some of the better real NAS.
