Q: after accepting terms and condition, App Store unresponsive

Just purchased a new Mac Book Pro, need to update Moutnain Lion to 10.8.5 from 10.8.4, confronted by a new terms and conditions page. After reading the agreement and accepting, App Store is completely unresponsive, and consequently does NOT ALLOW me to upgrade my new  laptop.

 

This is maddening.

 

Any thoughts?
