How do I connect to my internet!

I have got a very old iMac model number A1058 100-240v~, 50-60Hz, 3.0A and I have a sky internet network at home which I have connected my iPhone to. Can someone please tell me how or if I can connect this computer to it wirelessly! I have been through every section on help even remotely what I'm looking for. Mi have no idea whether I have the right operating system I selected I just want to get online!!!

Does the computer have wifi installed? If you go to the Apple Menu>About this Mac does it show any info regarding WiFi or Airport? Or, have a look in System Preferences>Network - if wifi or Airport is listed, turn it on and see if it finds the Sky network.

Also in About this Mac it'll say which version of OS you have installed. Please post that information. Scratch that, I see you posted in the Lion (10.7) forums 😊
