Q: I have downloaded icloud to my computer, backed up everything on my iphone and the photos are not on my computer anywhere?

I have downloaded icloud to my computer, backed up everything on my iphone and the photos are not on my computer anywhere? There are photostream folders on my c drive but they are empty.

iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.4, icloud

    Welcome to the Apple Community.

     

    Backing up isn't necessary for photo stream (although I'm not suggesting you don't back up.

     

    Have you enabled photo stream on your phone and if so when, only photos taken after it is enabled will be added.
