Imovie: Resizing picture in picture problem (cant find solution anywhere)

Question

Hello

Im trying to add a circular logo to a video clip, but im encountering problems.

When cropping, it wont let me resize the image vertically, just horizontally so only half the logo shows.

When i click the fit option, the whole logo appears, but with a black box behind it.

Why cant I get the lower half of the logo? Im using imovie 09

Please help

Thanks, but none of those really solved my problem.

When adding a picture on picture, the top and bottom of the logo do not show, only the middle.

I tried to crop it and make the rest show, but it wont let me crop it vertically (like shown below)

PiP will always use the same aspect-ratio as the Project.

Your Project is 16:9, your picture is perhaps 4:3 = cropped.
